Use for mango peels
|Description:||These can be used to extract pectin, soluble fibre, etc. The mango stones can break to obtain kernels for oil (Mango butter). The remaining cake called de-oiled cake is used as ingredient for cattle feed mixing. The decorticator will cost around 50,000 USD and has to be sources in India. The decorticator needs 100 tonnes of stones per day. The oil solvent extraction unit costs up to 1 million USD for processing 100 tonnes of kernels per day.
It is economical if you can obtain peels, wash and dry them, powder them and use for extracting pectin etc. We can’t provide the process, but can be obtained in India.
Only one plant is not sufficient to do all these products. Just think of kernels and export them to others. Can you find many more industries, which can provide mango peels and mango stones? Maybe you might need 100,000 M.T capacity mango plants to obtain 15,000 M.T. of mango stones, which will give you 10,000 M.T. of kernels. You can expect 5,000 tonnes of dried peels too.
