1) You receive irrelevant Posting Alerts:
a) Your alerts criteria are too general. You probably use "ALL SELECTED" in the "country" or "business specification" criteria.
Change your monitoring alerts criteria.
b) You have created more alerts with similar alerts criteria.
Delete unwanted Posting Alerts.

2) You don't receive any Posting Alerts:
Your alerts criteria are too narrow.
a) Delete some or all key words.
b) Use "ALL SELECTED" for at least one search criteria or select "world area" as "country".
c) Your email address is deactivated. Login to your user account to learn if your Email is deactivated or view the deactivated user account list. Update your user account to activate your Email again.
d) Your subscription is set to RSS channel. Change from RSS channel to Emails.

1) You don't wish to receive the newsletters anymore:
Unsubscribe/Subscribe the newsletters.

2) You don't receive any newsletters:
a) Make sure your subscription is activated (see above).
b) Your email address is deactivated. Login to your user account to learn if your Email is deactivated or view the deactivated user account list. Update your user account to activate your Email again.

1) You paid by a bank transfer to contact other BUSINESS-IDEA member:
We provide the contact information for the requested BUSINESS-IDEA member as soon as we see your payment in our bank. The process is manual.

2) You paid by a credit card or PayPal to contact other BUSINESS-IDEA member:
You receive the contact information on the screen and by Email as soon as your payment is successfully processed. The process is automated.

3) You paid by a bank transfer to buy some Credits :
We provide the Credits as soon as we see your payment in our bank. The process is manual.

4) You paid by a credit card or PayPal to buy some Credits :
We provide the Credits together with the confirmation on the screen and by Email as soon as your payment is successfully processed. The process is automated.

3) Your Credits are used up. You published Paid or Shared Posting. You pay 1 Credit each time other BUSINESS-IDEA member requests your contact information in your Paid Posting and 0,5 Credit in your Shared Paid Posting. View your Credits balance and list of contact requests.

You need to make sure that your published posting is converted to Paid or Shared Paid Posting.
Go to your posting management, login and convert your existing Free Posting to Paid and Shared Paid Posting.

You get a Contact Alert whenever somebody tries to view your contact information in your Free Posting.

There are two reasons why nobody views your contact information and contacts you:
1) Nobody considers your business idea to be worth of paying the contact fee.

2) You don't provide your contact information free of charge or you are not willing to share the contact fee with the potential business partner. Convert your Free Posting to:
a) Paid Posting to provide your contact information free of charge. Each contact costs you 1 Credit .
b) Shared Paid Posting to share the contact fee with the potential business partner. Each contact costs you and the member 0,5 Credit.

Login to the posting management page and deselect the option sending you Emails whenever somebody tries to contact you.

Login to the posting management page and view the contact attempt list.

You can only get Emails of members who were log in at the time when they tried to request your contact information. You cannot contact visitors who were not log in.
You might also consider upgrading your Free Posting to Shared Paid Posting or Paid Posting to increase the chance of being contacted.

This usually happens when members get your contact information free of charge through your Paid Posting. These members, who don't contact you, might not haven serious intention in doing business with you.
To increase the leads quality and save your money, BUSINESS-IDEA gives a possibility to convert your Paid Posting to a Shared Paid Posting.
Shared Paid Posting requires that other members, who wish to get your contact information, have to pay 0,5 Credit. These members have more serious intention in doing business with you because they have already invested little bit of money to contact you.

Success of any business depends on individual personality, capacities, business experience, expertise, and level of desire.
There are no guarantees that all members, who got your contact information are going to contact you and make a successful business with you.

You can publish a Free Posting that comments the posting of the author and then ask the author to contact you.
Of course you have to first convince the author (who should pay money to contact you) that you would be a useful partner for him.

You can contact other members from:
1) Your user account management when you know the member’s user name.

2) From any posting text view by pressing the "Contact the Author" button.

3) From the contact attempt list in your posting management.

You probably published your idea in a Free Posting and nobody considers your idea worth of paying the contact fee.

You might consider converting your Free Posting to:
a) Paid Posting to provide your contact information free of charge.
b) Shared Paid to provide your contact information for 0,5 Credit.

There might be following reasons:

1) Sometimes it takes up to one hour to receive the confirmation Email from BUSINESS-IDEA.

2) The confirmation Email went to your spam folder. Check you spam folder for any messages from "members-support@business-idea.com"

Try to resend the new User Account confirmation Email.

There might be two reasons:
The website tested and compatible with Internet Explorer 5, Netscape 6.0, Mozilla 5, and later versions.
Java and JavaScript have to be enabled.
Make sure you are using one of the compatible browsers with Java and JavaScript enabled.

1) You can click the ''Contact the Author'' button in the Posting text view to learn when the member has visited the Business-Idea site and logged in last time.
Furthermore, Business-Idea regularly validates Email addresses of all members. Those with inactive Email address are on the list of deactivated members. When you press the ''Contact the Author'' button, you get a warning whenever the member is on the list of deactivated members.

2) You can also choose to activate the ''One year old posting'' function for 40 Credits to contact at will any authors publishing postings more than one year ago.

You cannot show your contact information in your posting free of charge.
You need to purchase some Credits to convert you Posting to Paid Posting or Shared Paid Posting in order to provide your contact information in your posting free of charge.

The system does not allow members to modify or choose their Forum user names.

You can not delete the entire posting but you can edit it and/or deactivate your contact information so other members cannot contact you.

Explaining the Last Visit and the Last Logon terms available at the contact author page after pressing the "Contact the author" button from the posting view.

The Last Visit date is the date when you or somebody else with the same IP address as you have has visited Business-Idea. The date of Last Visit will be always today when you look at your own posting and press the "Contact the author" to request information about yourself.

The Last Login date is the date when you last time either login or clicked links in our posting alerts or newsletter.
You might consider changing your user name and password when you suspect somebody else accessing your user account. It is also important to logout and close all windows when accessing Business-Idea from a public computer.
